Independent since 2026. I left Babbel, where I was Vice President of Data and Analytics from May 2023.

Current work

Building in stealth, and running an AI governance engagement for a Berlin deep-tech manufacturer covering AI enablement, governance posture, and the data foundations underneath both.

Availability

Taking new engagements. A three-week AI readiness teardown can usually start within three weeks. Interim mandates depend on current commitments, so ask.

What I am thinking about

The context layer. Most AI programmes fail one layer below where they get blamed, and in 2026 that layer is retrieval, permissions at query time, and evaluation that catches quiet degradation.
